ROYAL ACADEMY 250

To celebrate the 250th Anniversary of the Royal Academy, The Lowry, Salford Museum and Art Gallery and Ordsall Hall are bringing the Royal Academy to Salford.

The cross-site exhibition will present the ‘Royal Academy Takeover: The Exhibition’ which unites traditional landscape and portraiture with modern art and includes war artists from World War II which shows prints, drawing and sculpture.

This promotional film provides viewers with a glimpse of the exhibitions taking place across the three locations around the Salford community. Featuring each of the venues, the fast-paced shots present some of the hidden gems from the collections, and focus on enticing viewers to take the time to visit and enjoy this fantastic exhibition.
